How to Send a Blank Message
To send a blank message, copy the invisible character below, paste it into the message box and hit send. Most chat apps block empty messages and plain spaces, but they accept this character because it counts as a letter.
Runs in your browser. Nothing you type is saved or sent.
Steps
Copy the blank character
Tap the button for your app.
Open the chat
Go to the person or group.
Paste
Long-press the message box and choose Paste. The send button turns on even though the box looks empty.
Send
The other person sees an empty message.
Blank message on WhatsApp
WhatsApp trims spaces, so a message of spaces won't send. Hangul Filler is a letter to WhatsApp, so it sends as an empty bubble.
Empty message in SMS and Messenger
SMS apps and Messenger usually accept the same character. Some SMS apps strip it; if that happens, use the backup.
Why apps block empty messages
Chat apps run trim() on what you type and block the send button if nothing is left. Hangul Filler isn't removed by trim(), so the message counts as text.
Blank messages in group chats
The same character works in groups. You can also make a group look nameless: open group info, tap the name, clear it and paste the character.
