Invisible Discord Name and Hidden Text

For an invisible Discord name, copy a blank character and paste it as your server nickname. To hide text in Discord, wrap it in spoiler tags with the tool below. Discord blocks some blank characters, so each one has a backup.

The yellow strip shows where the invisible character sits. Your clipboard will look empty after copying. That's normal.

Runs in your browser. Nothing you type is saved or sent.

Steps

  1. Copy a blank character

    Use the copy buttons above.

  2. Edit your server profile

Open the server, tap your name, then Edit Server Profile.

  3. Paste as nickname

    Paste the character and save.

Discord invisible name

Server nicknames often accept Hangul Filler. If Discord says the name is invalid, try Braille Pattern Blank (U+2800).

How to hide text in Discord

Put two vertical bars before and after the text, like ||secret||. It shows as a dark block until someone taps it. The tool above adds the bars for you.

Invisible text in Discord messages

An invisible character on its own sends as a blank message in most channels.

Blank Discord nickname vs. display name

Each server has its own nickname, so you can be blank in one server and named in another. Your global display name follows stricter rules and rejects more blank characters.

Not working?

  1. “Invalid nickname”

Use the backup character, or add one visible letter.
