How to copy blank space

1. Pick a card

   Choose how much blank space you need.

2. Tap to copy

   A “Copied” message appears at the bottom.

3. Paste

   Long-press the field and choose Paste, or press Ctrl+V.

What each blank space copy card does

Blank space copy and paste on this page works with ready-made cards. Each card holds a fixed amount of empty text, so you tap once and paste without choosing any settings.

Card options

• 1 character: copies one Hangul Filler (U+3164).
• 5 characters: five Hangul Fillers in a row.
• 10 characters: ten in a row, handy for short minimum lengths.
• 50 characters: a long row for wide gaps.
• 1 blank line: one empty line that holds its place.
• 5 blank lines: five empty lines for tall gaps in bios or posts.

After each tap, a short "Copied" message appears at the bottom of the screen.

Empty space that apps accept

A normal space gets trimmed, so the app still sees an empty field. These cards copy Hangul Filler (U+3164), which apps treat as a letter, so your blank text stays.

When to use 1 character vs. 50

One character is enough for a blank message, an empty comment or a name with no letters. Use 10 to 50 when an app asks for a minimum length, or when you want a wide gap inside text. Blank lines work for captions and bios that need space between paragraphs.

Blank space copy and paste on phone and computer

Copying a blank space works the same way on every device: tap a card, then paste into the field. The only difference is how you paste.

• Android: press and hold the text field, then tap Paste.
• iPhone and iPad: tap the field once, tap it again, then choose Paste from the menu.
• Windows and Chromebook: click the field and press Ctrl+V.
• Mac: click the field and press Cmd+V.

After you copy, your clipboard preview may look empty. That is expected, because the copied blank text has no visible shape.

Copy and paste nothing: what you actually copy

When people say "copy and paste nothing", they want something that looks like no text but still counts as text. Each card copies real characters, so the app sees content even though you see empty space.

Where to use empty space copy paste

Empty space copy paste is useful any time an app refuses an empty field. Common examples:

• A profile or game name that should look blank. The invisible name maker also lets you add gaps inside a name.

• Comments or replies where you only want to react with empty text.
• Forms that need a value in an optional field you would rather leave blank.

Be careful with long blank text in limited fields. Each invisible character counts toward the limit, and some apps measure length differently, so a 50-character card may hit the limit sooner than you expect.

Fixing blank text copy paste problems

If your blank text copy paste does not work, look at what happens and pick the matching fix:

• The field stays empty after pasting: the copy did not happen. Tap the card again and wait for the "Copied" message.
• The app says the text is too long: use a smaller card, such as 1 or 10 characters.
• Extra gaps show up in a document: blank characters you pasted earlier are still there. Clean them with the invisible character remover.
• It works in one app but not another: that is normal. Apps filter characters differently, so keep a backup character ready.

Not working?
